On Becoming a Teacher

Everyone has their own reason in choosing their profession. These reasons might be, we like children, we love teaching, or maybe we love being inside a classroom. I choose this profession, a future educator. Why? It's simply because I want to impart my knowledge, life lessons in my journey, and values that I have learned in my beloved grandparents. I want to build a support system within my classroom. I want to give inspirations towards my learners to strive in their dreams and do whatever it takes to achieve their goals in life. I want to help in shaping their future until they became successful. Teaching is a noble profession that comes with so much responsibility and duty towards students. Teacher are one of the most important pillars of the society. All I know this profession isn't easy at all. Especially that I took up Bachelor in Elementary Education. I will encountered a lot of students that ain't easy to handle but I will try my best to accommodate them and to have a quality education. To have this I should strive more, explore the capabilities that I have, and to develop my skills with the help of an outstanding instructors in Visayas State University in relation of teaching students. As I mentioned, I will do my best to achieve those goals in life, and I will set standard for myself to help myself in shaping my future goals. All I need to do is to trust myself along the way and trust His plans towards me.
